British Music Rights appoints new Press & Communications Executive

British Music Rights has today announced the appointment of a new Press & Communications Executive. 

Adam Webb will take up the newly-created role at the end of August.  Adam is a freelance journalist who has worked for a number of publications, including Music Week, The Guardian and New Media Age.

Adam Webb said of his appointment:  “Personally speaking, this is a huge opportunity to work for an organisation where music and the value of music are among its core values. Particularly at this present place in time. Amidst some fundamental changes to our industry, I look forward to an exciting and challenging future with both British Music Rights and its member organisations.”

British Music Rights’ Acting Chief Executive, Cathy Koester adds:  “We are delighted that Adam will be joining the British Music Rights team.  His journalistic experience and wealth of industry contacts will bring a fresh perspective and an extra dimension to our media strategy.”
