November

Logo - Music for Youth

The Schools Proms celebrate the very best of music-making by young musicians, singers and dancers from every corner of the British Isles.  3,000 young performers, from schools and music groups of every kind, come together to show just why this country leads the world in its sheer breadth of musical form and participation.

The Schools Prom take place at the Royal Albert Hall over three nights every November. Audiences of over 14,000 are treated to every kind of music ranging from boy-bands to near professional orchestras. The exuberance, skills and talent of these gifted young performers reach a climax each evening with a finale of fireworks, balloons and the traditional "Pomp and Circumstance March".

The Schools Proms are staged by Music for Youth, an educational charity which provides free access to educational and performance opportunities for all kinds of groups of young musicians through a nationwide series of festivals and concerts.
