Today Feargal Sharkey, with culture secretary Andy Burnham, addressed delegates at Music Week's Making Online Music Pay conference at London's May Fair Hotel.


Chairing the event, Sharkey said


"Ten years since the seismic shock that popularised P2P file-sharing, and ten years since most people had any anticipation that our business was about to undergo a transformation as dramatic the invention of the phonograph, the radio, the cassette or the CD."
