UK Music fully supports proposals made by Lord Clement-Jones on June 15th to overhaul provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 relating to live music.



In an amendment to a House of Lords motion on Minor Variations to Premises Licences and Club Premises Certificates, Lord Clement-Jones highlighted inherent complexities in the present Act and its negative impact on the performance of live music in small venues.
